Responsibilities:
- Utilize SolidWorks and other CAD tools to design and model complex mechanical systems.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and comprehensive reports.
- Conduct and participate in design reviews, offering valuable input on mechanical designs and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing standards and project requirements.
- Travel bi-coastally as required to support project needs and collaborations.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in SolidWorks and CAD modeling.
- Demonstrated success working in a team environment to achieve common goals.
- 1+ years of experience running FEA and verifying results through hand calculations.
- Experience in designing for manufacturability and data management.
- Ability to travel across the U.S. to support multi-site operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
